Our Story

Kamila grew up in a small town and has always been interested in maths. She chose a math–physics profile in high school, then went on to study electrical engineering. After graduation, she moved to London to work as an electrical design engineer.

Kuba also comes from a small town. He too chose math–physics in high school, completed his A-levels both in Poland and in England, then studied finance in Warwick — and later earned his master’s degree at MIT in Boston. Today, he works as an investment banker in London — and, as Kamila likes to say with a smile, he works a loooot.


Their paths crossed thanks to a dating app. They chatted for a month before finally deciding to meet — on December 27, 2023 — for their first date… in Prague! After Christmas, Kuba was driving from his hometown of Opoczno to Kraków. He borrowed a car, picked Kamila up at a gas station, and off they went on their first adventure together.
Kuba’s brother-in-law had jokingly left a child car seat in the back — “Let’s see if Kamila gets scared!” — but luckily, she didn’t run away. Quite the opposite — the date was perfect.
